As the Copa Mundial descends on North America, the spectacle has (for better or worse) our full attention. For the next 39 days, we’ll be chasing the World Cup around Los Angeles—catching matches in unexpected places, playing tourists, and celebrating the vibrant diasporas that make ours the best city in the world—while dodging Gianni Infantino and his money-hungry goons at every turn.

We promise that if there is any fun to be had, we’ll find it.
